Food Service


Environmental Health Services ensures that Berkeley County establishments provides it customers with a clean and safe food service. Our food service department helps ensure food safety by:

  • Evaluating whether the establishment is meeting minimum sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Protecting the public's health by requiring establishments to provide food that is safe, uncontaminated, and presented properly.
  • Conveying new food safety information to an establishment.
  • Providing an establishment with a written report, noting deficiencies, so it can be brought into compliance with safe food practices.
