Environmental Services



Environmental Health Services protects the public health by ensuring:

  • The integrity of the food and water supplies
  • Neighborhood cleanliness
  • A hazard-free work place
  • And proper disposal of wastes

These objectives will be accomplished through education, assessments, partnerships, regulation, complaint investigations, and consultation. The Division's resolve is carried out in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.

 

At the April 4, 2006 meeting of the Berkeley County Board of Health, it was voted to send a permit fee increase proposal to a 30 day comment period.  Comments are being accepted thru  May 10, 2006 and can be made in writing to:
